December 22, 2011Mt. St. Helens
As part of our Christmas trip we traveled through Portland, OR so we didn't hit the mountain passes possibly covered in snow. I was grateful because we decided to make a stop at Mt. St. Helens. I was so excited to see this historical site. I was amazed out how much bigger the mountain was than I originally thought. I also got a souvenir bottle of ash. The boys thought it was rather neat and compared it to Little Einsteins when Rocket was a fire engine helping with the volcano. I also took a picture of Mt. Hood while we were passing.
