Week of August 22nd to the 29th

Joey had his first tee ball game this week. I think he had a lot of fun. We had a lot of fun watching him. Ben went to his school open house. I have a picture of him sitting at one of his tables in his classroom. We also went to the library. The kids enjoyed putting together the puzzles. Emily finally figured out how to get my shoes on. It was very cute.

Week of August 15th to the 20th, Joey first Tee Ball Practice

This week we had the flue so we didn't really do much. Joey and Ben got a pirate costume from Aunt Susan hand me downs and they loved playing in it.

We did blind art. But that didn't last too long. They were too little to get the concept.

Emily has really become a daddy's girl. She just goes over and sits on him when ever she feels like it. She got new white church shoes and had to wear them everywhere. She picked up her baby and walked around the kitchen for like 5 minutes like she was busy. I was laughing. She is such a girl. She also kept sticking her baby in her bouncer. She is so adorable I love that little stinker.

Joey had his first tee ball practice this week. I saw an entirely different Joey. He was talkative and wanting to do everything first. I was so proud of him. I think he had a lot of fun. He has a good coach.

Umatilla County Fair 8-10-11

The pictures are backwards and it takes too long to fix so I am just going to leave them.
We went to the Umatilla County Fair in Hermiston, OR. The kids really enjoyed the science room. Ben wanted to stay their the entire time. Emily was interested in the magnetic blocks. I will have to find some for her. Joey really liked the marble wall.
We then went to look at animals. Emily wasn't as freaked out about the animals like Joey was his first time. She was interested in them. Ben was excited to shoot a bow and arrow. We took the kids on the carnival rides. Joey finally got to ride the rollar coaster that he screamed about going on when he was about Emily's age. We then went and watched the pirate show. It is a cute show that if you arrive early your kids have a part to play. We didn't get their early enough but they boys still enjoyed participating from the audience.
Eric then took us to Fudruckers. Joey had a huge hamburger, Ben enjoyed his black licorice ice cream and Emily liked drinking the ketchup, eewww. We then went miniature golfing. The kids really had a lot of fun golfing. Even Emily thought she was doing pretty well. Eric and I enjoyed spending time with them. It was a good day.
