Suburban, 100 day, Isaac 2nd birthday!

As you know we are expecting twins. Sadly enough Eric traded his truck in for a 2007 Chevy Suburban.  It was hard because we owned the truck and you never get what it is really worth.  But he made a sacrifice and we are ever so grateful for him. We will only drive the suburban when needed. Other than that we will still stick to the van. 

Joseph celebrated is 100 day at school. He took a map and his family help put 100 red gummy fish in the water.   Sadly he didn’t get to attend 100 day because he was sick. He teacher was kind enough to save everything for him and he was able to celebrate at home with the family.  

Now that St. Patrick ’s Day is fun for me again, I had a friend die on that day in high school, we tried to celebrate the day without distracting from Isaac. A leprechaun sent the kids on a hunt, but it was a chocolate disaster.  Next year the leprechaun will have to do something different. 

Isaac celebrated his 2^nd birthday. I waited for the video to play on the news but evidentially they forgot to tell me the file I sent was too large, so they just didn’t play it. Kind of frustrating but they got it on the news first thing the next day.  We woke him up and he came down stairs. I don’t know if he didn’t like the music or if he didn’t like the attention but he laid on the stairs and cried, and then hid under a chair and cried. 

After a while he was happy again. We let him open the kids gifts before school, Ben got him a musical recorder, Joseph a stuffed puppy and Emily a plastic bat.  Then after school we let him open so more presents and take a nap.  When he woke up we celebrated his cake. My friend Heidi made the cake for us and she is awesome. It was a perfect cake! He opened more presents, which were outside toys since he loves the outdoors.  Then after that we took him to toys r us and let him get a balloon, hat and pick out a toy. The problem was he had $15.00 and he wanted a $50.00 fur real cat in the girls department. He laid on it trying to get it out of the box and he even cried he did this at one other store as well, so when we went to target I decided to see if they had a deal on the cat. They did online it was $20.00 and I convinced them to give me the online price. So he got his cat.
