We had bought a travel trailer the week before and finally
after the snow melted we picked it up. It holds 8 with 2 sets of bunk
beds.
We celebrated Valentine’s day as a family on Thursday
because Eric had to work on Friday. We took the kids to the Lego movie. Mom, and Isaac ended up in the car after 15
minutes and Emily after about an hour. But the boys really loved it.
That night I went to the doctor for my first OB checkup. At
that time they couldn’t find the baby heart beat and told me to come back in
the morning for an ultrasound. I have had a miscarriage before so I knew that
is what the doctor thought. But I prayed
and knew everything would be okay. But I still went in expecting the
worse. Eric told his boss about the
possible miscarriage and asked if he could take the morning off to watch the
kids. They did even better and his wife and daughter came over and watched the
kids while Eric came with me to the appointment. On the drive over Eric joked
that “Hey maybe instead of a miscarriage you are having twins, that is why you
feel so sick.” Both of us laughed because twins don’t run in the family, or so
we thought. Well we got to the appointment and shocked everyone! So happy Eric was able to be there. Still days later we are in shock. The kids
screamed and family and friends have been excited and supportive.
You have a beautiful family. I am so excited for you. What a blessing in you life. I am glad Eric was able to be there with you.
