We have definetly had a week of teeth. Benjamin lost his front tooth Saturday, January 28th. I was worried that he wouldn't be able to pull it since the gum was so tough from when he lost his other tooth. But he got it out. He was so happy. In the process I ended up calling poison control for Emily. While I was trying to help Ben with his tooth, I used Ambesol (the adult super strength) to numb his tooth. He was crying and said he was in a lot of pain. He hasn't cried with any other loose teeth. While I was applying it to his teeth Emily proceeded to try and drink the ambesol. From what I calculate she didn't drink much and she spit out what she could, but her mouth was numb. I couldn't risk it so I called poison control. When I told Eric about this he said well maybe it would help her teeth feel better. Which brings me to the other teeth issue.Emily and Ben were playing ball on the tile and she slipped and feel. She broke her front tooth and chipped the other. Luckily I was able to get her into the dentist in a couple of hours. They said she could keep it and later we could fill it if we wanted to for cosmetic reasons or if it started to bother her. I of course cried because my little pageant princess can't compete with broken teeth. Which I am sure pleases most people. While my Em and Ben are having problems with teeth I am happy to report that my little Joey has all of his teeth :)
A couple of weeks ago we had snow. A lot for this area. They ended up cancelling school for 3 days because of the road conditions and ice. The kids had fun. It was like watching "A Christmas Story" when I put Emily in her snow suit. At one point she fell down face first and couldn't get up. Of course the nice mom I am, I have to take a picture first. Emily has been really loving lately and has been kissing everyone. She is so funny. She was kissing Eric all over his face and I tried to get it on video but then she thought I was taking a picture so she was giving me her cheese face. Exciting couple of weeks.
