Ben and I had a date today. Ben called it "our day". He was so excited that he even went to bed praying that we would have it the next day. He told me he wanted me to bring skates and he would bring his scooter. He pretended we were on a racetrack and we raced around the park. We did this for about 15 minutes. I was dying since I haven't been on rallorblades for a while. But it was my favorite part of the day.
We then went to Shopko and picked out some school clothes. He picked out mostly Cars 2 shirts. It was hard for me to let him choose his clothes but he will be the one that is wearing them during Kindergarten.
We then went to target where I let him pick out a small toy. He picked a transformer car.
After about 2 hours we headed home It was a fun date. He had a good day too. As a result his attitude today was wonderful. He was nice to everyone. He even put Emily in a booster seat, strapped her in and gave her a snack.
I am hoping to do this with him everyone month at least one.
