We took a trip to Salt Lake City to help moves Eric's family and since we probably won't be back for a while we were able to make visit some places I wanted the kids to remember. We went to Temple Square. They enjoyed going in the church museum and being able to jump (or rather bonk their heads) on the bunk beds on the ship. Four volunteers took the boys and had them play with pioneer toys while Eric and I walked the upper level of the church museum. I really enjoyed the hall of the prophets. It was beautiful to walk the grounds of the Salt Lake City Temple where Eric, I and Ben were sealed as a family. We are so glad that Joey and Emily were born in the covenant as well so that we can be a family for eternity. We also walked past the conference center. The kids were getting tired so we skipped that tour. Later that week we went and visited Great Grandma Erickson. She was able to see Emily in Person for the first time. It was a nice visit. We also went and saw Aunt Judy which I wish I would have taken pictures. She was so good with the boys. She made the boys cupcakes and at one point they had only eaten the part with the frosting. Judy asked Ben if he didn't like the rest of the cupcake, and so she put more frosting on it. That was the highlight of Joey and Ben's day. It was a great visit too. We were able to stay at our friends house Nathan and Kourtnie Spencer's. They were so wonderful to allow us to stay with them and play too. It was a lot of fun.
Then Friday Eric met my parents in Wendover and they drove us back to Elko. We did a couple of things I wish I would have also taken pictures of. We celebrated Joey's birthday and he was so happy to be getting all of the wonderful presents. A pop out car from Auntie Sums and Unlce Jonathan, an aircraft carrier and clothes from Grandpa Pat and Grandma Penny and a Ninja Turtle Sweatshirt from Uncle Matt. While we were in Elko we went up Lamoille Canyon but Granmda Penny has those pictures on her camera so I will have to get those. We were also able to visit Grandma Paula and Grandpa George. The boys were excited to be able to ride on grandpa's four wheelers and horses. Well it is getting late and I can't remember much else we did except being worn out by the end of the day.

When we first entered the Church Museum we were greeted by volunteers that were wanting to take our boys while we visited the exhibts. So sad it takes for adults :)

My not so happy crew having a snack.

Our beautiful Salt Lake City Temple. Wonderful reminder of our family being sealed for time and eternity.

Proof I was really here too.

Joey was excited to open up the air craft carrier.

Joey loved his new Ninja Turtle Sweatshirt that his Uncle Matt made him.
