This year for us Halloween we basically celebrated on Saturday since it fell on a Sunday which suprisingly worked well for our boys. Saturday our Ward Young Women, Young Men and Primary put on a Halloween Carnival and Trunk or Treat for the kids. I was over the Haunted House. Which was more difficult to put together than expected. I was at the church that afternoon setting up at two and I had already been there from 12-1 with the kids. Everyone else arrived to help set up at 4 p.m. and they activity started at 5 pm. They boys went around with Grandma and Aunt Sara for a while so I could make sure that everything was set up and organzied for the Haunted House. Then I took them around. Emily was such a good girl and eventually fell asleep. Many people thought I made her costume, which I didn't and other's thought she was a ram and not princess Leia. Then afterwards we went trick or treating in the parking lot of the members trunks. Emily stayed with a friend while I took the boys, (Eric had to work). They went so fast I think we were done in 10 minutes. Then today when Riley and Rose went trick or treating I told them we went last night. They were fine with that. They were excited to hand out candy. I think they were more excited to hand out the candy then they were over trick or treating. All in all it was a good Halloween.

Ben was originally suppose to be a storm trooper but he said his costume is too big and he wants to save it for next year. So he was spiderman from last year the costume was super snagged and had holes in it. But I would rather have a happy, boy with holes in his costume, than a sad boy in a costume he doesn't want to wear.

The Cupcake walk!

Grandma Jill, Riley and Emily.

My little princess leia that many people thought was a ram. But I can see how they would think that.

A Froggie!

A Spidie!

She actually sat still for most of the painting.

Fishing.

They had a lot of fun with the donut on the string. Sadly enough mom was so busy setting up for the haunted house I think the donut was dinner.

Bean Bag Toss!

Bean Bag Toss!
They were obsessed with this games, and they weren't even giving out prizes. It was a ball of velcro that you toss onto a board and it sticks.
