July 23rd to August 16th

I had set the trash on the ground to take outside and they decided they wanted to take it outside. It was very sweet.

Emily had won a princess 2 day class for a dance class. I decided to have Allison go too. They had fun.

Andrew colored and cut some pokemon balls. He is very proud of himself.
We hosted an outdoor movie night. This is the first year we have had concessions. Our neighbors are awesome to help our kids raise money for the family gifts they want to buy each other.

Eric and Ben attended Boy Scout camp for a week. The following are the pictures of that week.

While they were at camp Ally, Andy, Emily and Isaac had swim lessons at the City of Richland Swimming Pool.

Our family attended the City of Richland Safety Night
 More swim lesson pictures

I started my own marriage and family consulting business
Grandma and Grandpas Anniversary party in Kenenwick
Joe receives his arrow of light and walks across the bridge for cub scouts.

 Another successful outdoor movie night
Everyone except Isaac and Ben participated in the Stake Track and Field Day for Primary. The kids had fun, and even earned participation ribbons.

The twins turned 4 and had a great birthday!

They found the balloons for decorations. They were very happy stinkers.

Eric traditionally gives the kids birthday spankings, don't worry they aren't hard.

He finally got his cars race track he has been asking for and he was so excited!

On the other hand Allison was not excited. She did not want the bike, even though she told me she did.

But they both liked their cars. Although it was super smoky and we could only be outside for minutes.

She was trying to fly with her balloons.

Isaac attempted karate. Not for him at this time.

 Outdoor movie night.
 My handsome hubby
The boys reviewed a video game for our neighborhood magazine.  They had to take a picture for the article. They are both pinching each other to make the other laugh.  Amazing how that can make them smile.
Joseph first day of 5th grade KOG.
Ben first day of 7th grade
The twins found this sled in the garage. They took it outside. They threw ice on the ground to try and make it move. I thought it was pretty funny.
Dad took the family to Dairy Queen
Trying not to get mad at the cool fort they built.
Emily and Isaac back to school party at Mid Columbia Parent Partnership.
Joe had a great birthday. He got video games and a digital download he didn't realize was on the paper.

Joe celebrated his birthday on Monday September 4th since it was a day off from school. He is trying to negotiate with his dad about having his spanking on his birthday instead. He won.

Ben provided a scavenger hunt for the Joe to go on so he could find the video game that the kids pooled together and bought Joe for his birthday.

Emily and Isaac first day at Mid Columbia Parent Partnership. They attend once a week and I home school they other days of the week.

Joe was excited that he still got a present or two for his birthday. He also had donuts for breakfast and instead birthday cake he asked for a berry pie.

Ally never got her spanking on her birthday
Joe gets his spanking, good thing it is the last year.

For an art project the kids built playdough pots

We went and took family pictures for the neighborhood magazines. This is one of the pics I took.

The kids are being silly with coloring mustache stickers

I went with my friend on a walk along the Columbia River and we saw 4 skunks. Apparently people put cat food by the fences for the cats and the skunks love it, too.

Emily decided to make the poster all on her. I thought she did pretty good.
Ben is working on his scholarship merit badge. We asked the principal to write a letter as part of the badge and he did. This is a very nice letter. Ben was asked to come to the office so the principal could give it to him. He said he was very nervous. But it was just to give him the letter.

 Art Emily made
Eric invited me to play with his the RPD kickball team. The took 1st place for 3 years. It was fun to play even for a little bit.

Isaac was excited for his Dude Perfect shirt for school
