Edwards Famly: Silverwood, Scout Camp, Last Day of School. 5th grade graduation June 24, 2017

Joseph attended Cub Scout this week. I was able to go with him on Thursday and we had a fun time.

Ben received this for his 5th grade class.

We had our annual family vacation at Silverwood Theme Park in Athol, ID. The kids came home after the last day of school and we let to the RV park on Wednesday June 14 and came home Tuesday June 20th.

Emily was so proud of herself for buying her own Silverwood driking sports bottle. Unfortunately the first day someone stole it. Of course mom and dad replaced it but it really left her heartbroken.

Andy absolutely loved everything about Silverwood. Even 5 days later he asks every day if he can go back to Silverwood.

Andy is very sad that dad drove away with the camper and we have to leave Silverwood

Fun in the dark

The only night we could do a campfire at Silverwood, Monday, because it was very rainy most of the time.

These 3 pictures show what Allison did most of the time at Silverwood. She didn't like any rides. She said they scared her.

We finally got her on the Butterflyer, a large swing, as you can see Ally is not too happy. She loved the water park, although I failed to get pictures because I was afraid of getting my cell phone wet.

Sunday we decided it was best to not go to Silverwood. We went to Sandpoint, ID about 15 miles away and went to the Sacrament meeting there. Very quiet meeting, with my very noticeable children. Afterwards we went to Mr. Williams farm and visited for a while and then we went to the cemetery where his wife is buried along with other family members. There we cleaned the gravestones. It was a good experience for us all.

Thankfully the twins slept while we were at the cemetary.

Having Ice cream Mr. Williams provided and then he is taking them on a slow walk through the grass trying to find where the baby deer was hiding that was recently born. We didn't find it.

In the picture below, Emily was so excited that her friend Riley from her 1st grade class had a campsite very close to us. They were able to play together.

We had a campsite right next to the playground so the kids were able to go there before and after Silverwood since the park is only open from 11 to 7.

This was the train ride and the main actor from the train ride experience. Andy was so excited to be on the train.

The main actor of the train performance was tormenting Isaac and calling him traffic cone. Isaac love it!

But then he became very sad after 20 minutes of waiting his twin sister Allison and daddy didn't make the train. Allison was scared and she was also sick the first two days of the vacation with puking and diarrhea.

They hold a mock train robbery, with the money going to charity.

Andy is sad he isn't old enough to go to Silverwood with Dad, Isaac, Ben and Joe to ride Roller Coasters after dinner.

The tree house (playground) was one of Allison's favorite rides. We were also able to get her on bumper boats, which she really loved (water).

Our sick baby wouldn't even get up for ice cream.

Emily got mad at me and took off running. I didn't even know, luckily Ben so her run away, grabbed my phone and took pictures and a video. (He wanted evidence) Naughty little stinker.

This is Isaac after his first Roller Coaster ride. Eric had his cracked ribs so I had the pleasure of going with him. He was so excited and absolutely love it!

Yes this is a picture of Allison on the carousel. What you do not see is that she immediately threw a fit and we had to sit in the chair on the ride.

The kids were freaking out about the snake. I got closer and then tormented them. It was a gummy worm!

The one day that it was really raining and thundering it let up a bit. Emily and I went back to the park for about an hour and a half. I had a blast with my little girl.

I wasn't able to view the magic show because Allison was freaked out. But I was able to get pictures after.

The magician is trying to convince Joseph to let him right his name in permanent marker on his forehead. lol.

You can't see it very well but Ben is in the yellow shirt and magician is asking him to help with a card trick.

Allison stayed by the trash can during lunch because she was scared. The magic show wasn't even dark and hadn't even started.

This is how we spent the rainy days at Silverwood.

Ben was so excited to go to Silverwood he even offered to push the stroller....
Then mom made a mistake. The park didn't open at 10 but 11. We decided to not walk the 10 minutes back to the camper, and created our own fun for an hour.
