The Easter Bunny visited our house on Saturday this year.
Mom talked to the Easter Bunny and since the family is striving to focus on
Jesus Christ this year we asked him to come on this day. It worked well, better
than expected. The kids were excited to be able to spend Easter playing. However, Easter egg hunts didn’t turn out as
planned this year. Saturday morning Eric found out that he had to do something
with the voting process as part of the PCO.
He was going to be gone from 9 am to noon which worked out perfect since
our first Easter egg hunt happened at noon. However, it didn’t happen that way.
In fact we didn’t see Eric until 5 pm and he missed both Easter egg hunts. Mom
was sad, but I had awesome friend, neighbors and even community members that
helped even when I wasn’t asking. We attend the community event where the only
way I got pictures of the twins hunting was with the help of community members.
We stayed at the part until it was time to attend our next Easter egg hunt at
2:00 pm. It was fun and exhausting. When
Dad got home we played a game of whiffle ball. Sunday we celebrated Easter by
remember atonement and resurrection of Christ. We went to church and then it
was really windy in the afternoon so mom let the kids fly the kites they had
gotten for Easter. It was a great weekend.
